Yes,

A Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or a computer can control Elebia's automatic lifting hooks through two main interfaces:

1. eMAX Remote Control

The eMAX remote control communicates with a PLC or computer via its serial port. Data and commands are transmitted through this port and then relayed via radio frequency to the automatic lifting hooks.
For more information, please refer to this article.

2. eLINK device

The eLink device, can communicate with a PLC using its wired Inputs and outputs.
It is possible to program inputs and outputs to manage one or various hooks and communicate with PLC depending on different conditions.
And yes, there are other ways to communicate with a PLC. You can manage serial communications through RS-232 and RS-485, Etherntet using TCP/IP, UDP and Profinet. In this cases there is a bidirectional communications protocol to send orders to the hooks via eLink and receive requestst and information form the eLink to the PLC.
Please refer to the eLink user manual. to find more information about the protocol.
