| eMAX | Advanced remote control with high-resolution screen and keypad for full configuration and monitoring. |
| eINST | Installable remote control placed in the crane relay cabinet. Requires simple wiring. Can block the crane's upward movement when the hook is in an intermediate position. Compatible with all cranes. |
| eLINK | The eLINK connects the hook to external systems such as PLCs, SCADA, or crane controls. |
7. LED Status Indicator
The C5 and C6 feature an LED status indicator that provides visual feedback during operation:
| LED Color | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Green | Clamp is unlocked / open |
| Red | Clamp is in transition – do not lift |
| Blue | Clamp is locked – safe to lift |
Critical Warning: Operator must confirm with visual inspection that all lifting clamps are blue before lifting.
8. Operating Limits
Temperature Range:
The clamps are designed for normal atmospheric conditions within a temperature range of -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F). The clamps must not be used outside these conditions.
Chemical Exposure:
The clamps must not be exposed to acids, alkalines, or their vapours.
Material Thickness:
For steel plates, thickness must be minimum 45 mm / 1.77 in.
9. Lifting Procedure
Lifting:
- Operator must fix the lifting clamp on the load/cargo
- Operator must lock the lifting clamp using eMINI remote control / rigger button
- Operator must confirm with visual inspection that all lifting clamps are blue in the LED status indicator
- Crane operator confirms the locked status of the lifting clamps in the eMAX remote control
- Lifting and manoeuvring procedure can begin
Release:
- Place load on a horizontal surface
- Signal operator unlocks lifting clamps using eMINI remote control
- Signal operator confirms with visual inspection that all lifting clamps are green in the LED status indicator
- Crane operator confirms the unlocked status of the lifting clamps in the eMAX remote control
- Crane lifts and lifting clamps are released from load/cargo
10. Working Angles and Critical Warnings
Working Requirements:
- Each element that conforms the load must be correctly placed on the automatic lifting clamp and firmly positioned at the end of the jaw opening
- Clamps must be used in pairs (or multiples thereof)
- Make sure load is always balanced
- Working angles must not exceed the maximum top angle as described in the user manual
Do NOT:
- Lift any load which is thicker than the jaw opening
- Lift the load on the tip of the lifting clamp
- Lift loads that are neither balanced nor secured
- Lift item/load that may deflect/sag
- Lift item/load that is pinned to any surface
- Lift item/load over people. Make sure people are, and remain, outside of the area of any sustained load
11. Critical Warnings for Lifting
- Do NOT lift more than the Working Load Limit indicated on the clamp and in the CE stamp
- Do NOT use the clamps to lift, sustain or transport people
- Do NOT lift loads over people
- Do NOT operate the clamps if they do not meet the lifting procedure and/or working angles specified in the user manual
- Do NOT leave the weight sustained on the clamps unattended unless specific precautions have been taken
- Do NOT modify the clamps (by welding, grinding, etc.)
