1. Product Overview
The evo2 and evo2L are automatic lifting hooks designed for lifting and transporting loads. The main difference between both models is the length of the hook, with the evo2L offering extended reach for applications requiring greater clearance.
All evo series hooks feature a safety factor of 4:1. The Working Load Limit (WLL) is indicated on the CE stamp affixed to each individual hook.

6. Remote Control Compatibility
The evo2 and evo2L can be paired with allr remote control options:
| Remote Type | Description |
|---|---|
| eMINI | Compact remote control allowing the operator to open and close the hook and control battery level. Displays sensor information and maintenance messages. |
| eMAX | Advanced remote control with high-resolution screen and keypad for full configuration and monitoring. |
| eINST | Installable remote control placed in the crane relay cabinet. Requires simple wiring. Can block the crane's upward movement when the hook is in an intermediate position. Compatible with all cranes. |
| eLINK | The eLINK connects the hook to external systems such as PLCs, SCADA, or crane controls. |
7. Operating Limits
Temperature Range:
The hook is designed for normal atmospheric conditions within a temperature range of -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F). The hook must not be used outside these conditions.
Chemical Exposure:
The hook must not be exposed to acids, alkalines, or their vapours.
Operating Position:
The hook must be in a vertical position during operation.
8. Magnet Optional: choose between Void (no magnet), Magnet, or Sensor Magnet (allows autoclose function)
The evo2 and evo2L feature a powerful integrated magnet that attracts, centers, and orients the sling, masterlink, or rigging gear.
WARNING – Strong Magnetic Field: People wearing a pacemaker must never approach the hook, as the magnetic field may interfere with the device's operation and pose serious health risks. The magnet is strong enough to transport relatively heavy metallic elements unintentionally. Do not approach with metal items. Magnetic cards, credit cards, hard disks, and other sensitive devices may be damaged or disrupted if brought too close.
9. Critical Warnings for Lifting:
- Do NOT place or lift the load on the tip of the hook
- Do NOT lift the load until the hook is completely closed
- Only lift the load when it is correctly settled on the base of the hook
10. Safety Features
Fail-Safe Design: The hook is geometrically designed to prevent opening when a load is suspended. The motor torque is not powerful enough to open the hook when the suspended weight exceeds the maximum releasable weight.
Clutch Protection: A slip clutch protects the motor from overload by slipping when the force required exceeds a safe threshold.
Lock Pin Mechanism: Prevents involuntary opening or closing of the hook.
11. Warranty
| Component | Warranty Period |
|---|---|
| evo automatic lifting hook | 2 years (parts and labour) |

- Overload
- Wrong or careless use
- Damage from not following procedures and measures
- Damage from hoisting material other than indicated on the hook or in the user manual
- Adapting or modifying the hook
- The injudicious use of the evo automatic lifting hook, and not succeeding all indications which are stated in the user manual.
- Maintenance inspections not carried out by authorized Elebia Technical Service
The manufacturer is not responsible for incidental damage, or damage due to wrong use of the lifting tools as well as from violation of this manual.
12. Inspection and Maintenance
Inspection Intervals by Service Level:
| Service Level | Definition | Frequent Inspection | Periodic Inspection |
