Applies to: All Elebia hook models compatible with eMINI

Yes. The eMINI supports multiple hooks, and a single hook can also be linked to multiple eMINIs.

How the eMINI Handles Multiple Hooks

When you press a button on the eMINI, all linked hooks respond simultaneously. This is useful for coordinated operations where all hooks must open or close at the same time.

The eMINI does not allow individual hook selection. All linked hooks receive the same command at the same time. For independent control of individual hooks, use the eMAX.

How Pairing Works

Unlike the eMAX, where linked hooks are stored in the remote, the eMINI stores the association on the hook itself. The eMINI transmits its serial number and the hook registers it as an allowed device.

For step-by-step pairing instructions, refer to the eMINI linking article. [here]

How to Split Hooks Into Independent Groups

To control hooks independently, use a separate eMINI for each group. Example: 8 hooks split between two operators requires two eMINIs, each paired with 4 hooks.

To ensure a hook responds only to one specific eMINI, perform a new linking process on the hook to erase all existing links, then pair it exclusively with the desired eMINI.

Can Multiple eMINIs Control the Same Hook?

Yes. A hook can be linked to multiple eMINIs simultaneously. Each eMINI can operate the hook independently.  This also provides a backup: if one eMINI battery dies, another linked eMINI can take over without re-pairing.

eMINI vs. eMAX for Multi-Hook Operation

eMINI

eMAX

Operate multiple hooks

✓ — all at once, simultaneously

✓ — selectable, sequentially

Select individual hooks

Display which hooks are responding

✓ (hook icons on screen)

Practical limit

No limit

Up to 24 hooks

Use case

All hooks open/close together

Independent control per hook

If your needs include selecting which hooks to operate or controlling them independently, the eMAX is the better choice. The eMINI is ideal for simpler scenarios where all hooks function as a cohesive group.
