The Service menu is a specialized feature designed for qualified technical personnel and is only accessible with a minimum Service profile. To utilize this menu, you must be registered as a Service user. If you are not logged in with a Factory profile, the menu will appear restricted. Both Service and Factory profiles are not available to all users; they are intended for individuals with the necessary technical expertise. For more information on Factory access, please refer to the relevant article [here]. This guide will focus solely on the menus visible from a Service profile. To gain access, please contact Elebia to arrange training and enroll in the technical service program.
It is important to note that all actions performed in this menu will affect any nearby hooks sharing the same radio parameters with the eMAX. Therefore, extreme caution is necessary to avoid unintentionally unlinking or impacting other hooks, especially in environments with multiple hooks in proximity. A thorough understanding of these functions is crucial to prevent operational errors and ensure efficient use of the Service menu.
Within the Master menu, you will find several important submenus:
- INQUIRE DATA: This function allows you to query all nearby hooks, even those not currently linked, as long as their radio preferences match. You can view essential information such as serial numbers, total and partial cycles, maintenance records, and the hook's birth date, which is crucial for tracking performance and history.
- DELETE REMOTES: This option enables you to remove all linked remotes from the hook. Once this operation is performed, you will need to re-link the remote, whether it is an eMINI or eINST, ensuring that only authorized devices can control the hook.
- ADD REMOTE: This feature puts the hook into pairing mode, allowing you to link additional remotes without unlinking any existing ones. You can easily do this using the standard OPEN/CLOSE button on the eMINI/eINST procedure on the remote, making it convenient to expand your control options.
- REPLACE REMOTE: If you need to link a new remote while removing the previously linked one, this function allows you to do so seamlessly. It follows the standard OPEN/CLOSE button procedure on the eMINI remote, ensuring a smooth transition.
- OPEN/CLOSE: This function allows you to open or close the hook without needing a linked remote, providing flexibility in operation when remotes are unavailable.
- SERVICE: This option is essential for maintenance, as it resets the partial cycle counter after inspections, repairs, or maintenance operations, helping to keep track of the hook's operational history.
