Connecting your hook to the eMAX is a straightforward process that ensures you can effectively use your device. Follow these steps for a seamless connection:


Step 1: Insert the Battery

Begin by inserting the battery into the hook. If you are using the evo-1700 battery, make sure to turn it on. Once powered, the hook will emit a series of initializing beeps, indicating that it is ready.


Step 2: Access the Settings Menu

Next, navigate to the settings menu on your eMAX device. You can find this option represented by a gear icon located at the bottom of the screen. Tap on this icon by to enter the settings.


Step 3: Enter the Hooks Menu

Within the settings menu, look for the “Hooks” option. Select this to proceed to the next step in the connection process.


Step 4: Select Storage Position

You will now see a list of available positions where you can store your hook. Choose the position that you prefer and press the right button on your eMAX. Remember, the eMAX can store up to 24 hooks.


Step 5: Choose Serial Number Option

After selecting your storage position, a new menu will appear with various options. Select the “Serial Number” option to continue.


Step 6: Enter the Serial Number

Now, you will need to input the serial number of the hook you wish to link. Use the right button on the eMAX to enter the serial number. Once entered, press the right button again. The hook should emit initialization beeps, confirming that the connection has been successfully established.


Step 7: Check Connection Status

Finally, return to the initial screen of your eMAX. Here, you will be able to see the status of the battery and the RF signal, ensuring everything is functioning correctly.
